We are now looking for a System Developer to join our multi-platform audit solution team called Snow Inventory. In the role as a System Developer you will help scope new features, break them down to a manageable design and implement them, as well as maintain existing functionality.
The Snow Inventory team develops an inventory solution designed to find devices and audit software installs and track usage on them. In order to collect this information the team develops small footprint agents that are installed to all devices and servers in the customer environment, regardless of platform. We have agents for all major OS such as Windows, Linux, Mac OS and UNIX. You will work with Java and C++ to create minimally invasive agents for all of these systems, requiring a broad knowledge of operating systems and network technology. The information collected helps managers to proactively manage software usage, actively resolve issues and analyze changes across the network.

You are a confident developer with at least three years of experience in the field. Your main language is C++ and/or Java and you have experience from development for several of Windows, Linux, UNIX and Mac OS platforms. As a developer you are creative and productive and like the challenge of a technical problem. You always keep quality and stability as your main focus.
HOPEFULLY YOU ALSO KNOW
• Know C# and .NET
• Understand the consequences of your design choices on the performance of your application and the target system
