Specifically, we reexamined products through three lenses: material selection, inspection process and packaging simplification. For instance, if you omit the bleaching process for pulp, the resulting paper is light beige in color. MUJI used this paper for its packaging and labels. The ensuing products are remarkably pure and fresh. In notable contrast to the prevailing over-embellished products in the marketplace, MUJI's products both won great appreciation and sent shock waves not only through Japan but across the entire world.
The Operation Coordinator/Store Support will report both to the Managing Director and the MEH Training team. The goal of this role is to implement the learning strategy as defined by the Central team and provide ongoing development to the team members across the stores in order to retain the best talent
Role and responsibilities
• Responsible for the training delivery, ensuring that all training activities are planned and implemented in line with business objectives.
• Ensure that a comprehensive induction is carried out with all the new starters.
• Support the auditing of standards across the business.
• Deliver refresher training as required to ensure that the employees are up to date.
• To measure the effectiveness of the training delivered through monitoring of KPI's and Mystery Shop results.
• Maintain awareness of learning and development trends in the market to create new learning opportunities.
• Support the management team in the annual performance management reviews.
• Support the management team with store duties as required ensuringhigh level of customer service is offered whilst in the store.
Knowledge and skills
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Motivational and inspiring.
• Attention to detail.
• Confident in delivering training
• Good knowledge of PowerPoint.
• Able to work well within a team and to motivate/encourage other team member.
• Shows initiative and self-motivated.
Education and experience
• Previous retail experience at a managerial level.
• Training/coaching qualification advantageous.
• Previous experience in delivering training
