Module Team Director - Lower Body & Cross Car Beam
The Lower Body & Cross Car Beam department is responsible for the development of Lower Body sheet metal and Instrument Panel Cross Car Beam hardware for future cars of Geely Group. As Module Team Director you will be the responsible line manager at CEVT for Lower Body & CCB and member of the Lower Body & Structures management team and play an important role in the future global development of the area.
Responsibilities and tasks
We are currently developing new architectures for Geely group. Our responsibility covers all phases from concept development and industrialization to maintenance for our systems in serial production. Together with your team of system managers, system engineers and design engineers you will have the full functional responsibility for development and maintenance of the Lower Body & CCB systems to all of our ongoing and coming projects.
Your team consists of roughly 20 people and you will report to the Vice President for Lower Body & Structures.
Profile and Background
We are looking for you who have experience in product development, preferably within Car body design. You should have documented leadership capabilities and experience. Cultural awareness, specifically between Europe and Asia is also an important factor to be successful.
You are an inspiring leader who creates commitment in the organization through personal engagement and excellent communication skills. You enjoy working operationally and with a strong focus on the product.
To be successful in the role, it is important that you are positive, take initiative, work well with other people, and show both self-confidence and good judgment when making statements and taking decisions.
Suitable theoretical background is master of science within mechanical engineering or similar.
