We currently have the following job opening;
Module Team Director - Interior Soft Trim & Interior Lighting
We are looking for a dedicated Director to lead our Module Team for Soft Trim & Interior Lighting. You will be responsible line manager with the assignment to lead and develop the team. As Module Team Director you will report to Vice President Interior.
This role gives you an opportunity to work within a fast growing global engineering organization and you will be overall responsible for the development of systems and components of your area in a cross functional team. You will play a key role to reach project targets for the module team and for Interior to achieve its overall mission. The members in the module team are System Managers, System Engineers and Design Engineers.
Responsibilities and tasks
- Manage, lead and develop the Module Team
- Lead the development of concept and system solutions needed in the different projects for all systems and components within the Module Team
- Budget for your Module Team and your area of responsibility
- Secure long-term needed competence, capacity and working processes within your area.
- Allocate right competence and needed resources to meet the different project needs
- Execute releases and change management within your responsibility
- Secure project target fulfillment
- Secure right quality of all project deliveries within your responsibility
- Secure maximum commonality across different projects
- Manage Advanced Engineering and Innovation projects within your area
Requirements
- Sc. or M.Sc. in Engineering, or the equivalent experience
- Minimum 10 years' experience of Automotive engineering
- Relevant engineering experience of Soft Trim and/or Interior Lighting
- Experience of leading Engineering teams, either in a line or a project role.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to encourage and manage employees with a multicultural background
- Experience of project management
- Knowledge about trends and applicability of new technologies
- Driven, problem solver who takes initiatives and responds to changing priorities
- Persistency to pursue targets and take decisions
- Fluent in English both written and spoken
- Cultural awareness, especially Asian - European culture
- Ability to travel
