Glooko/Diasend simplify life for people with diabetes and facilitates the work of their health care providers by optimizing diabetes data management.
Our comprehensive and market leading solutions involve uploading, storing and analyzing data from a clear majority of the diabetes devices currently available on the global market - allowing patients and caregivers to easily access, understand and share the same information. This equals highly valuable support for people with diabetes both during and in-between doctor visits, and makes the work of diabetes coaches around the world much more efficient and accurate.
Over the last few years we have grown quickly and are now at the point of the next big phase of expansion, aiming at establishing a presence with new exciting products in several markets within the near future. And to get there, the search for a number of new talented and driven co-workers has now begun.
We are a global company with about 80 employees, located in Silicon Valley, Chicago, London and Gothenburg - currently serving 4 000 diabetes clinics in 23 countries across 15 languages, impacting the lives of tens of millions of people with diabetes on a daily basis. Our largest owners are Samsung Ventures, Medtronic, Canaan Partners and Social Capital.
In our brand new office close to Liseberg (yes - you will have Lisebergskortet as an employee benefit) in Gothenburg we are approximately 35 co-workers. We are responsible for sales, customer support and marketing for all international markets except North America. We also have a dedicated team of engineers that works with technical development for all global markets.

We 're looking for a Mobile App Developer.
As a mobile app developer you will work with the Diasend & Glooko mobile apps, currently available for both Android and iOS. You will work tightly with the product managers and also have great potential to influence the direction and choice of technology.
You will provide operational or technical support in the development, analysis, and maintenance of systems, software, processes, products and/or equipment. At Diasend you will be part of a cross-atlantic team and report to the company's R&D Director.
Experience and competence requirements
At least three years experience of a similar role, developing mobile apps for Android and iOS
Experience with Java, Objective-C, C & C++
Experience with Android and iOS SDKs
Experience with React Native
Experience with version control systems such as Git, Subversion etc.
Have well-developed communication skills, easy to express yourself so that others understand - both in English and Swedish
Can show examples on projects you have contributed to, professionally or on your own. At least one app should be available in Google Play or Apple App Store.
Bachelor or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Math, or Engineering
Merit experience
Experience of cross-platform development
Experience of development of embedded systems
Experience of development of server side software and systems
Knowledge in the medical field
