The further processed products include solid wood elements and house modules, wood components and pellets. A variety of sawn timber products complement the range. Wood Products has more than 20 production units in Europe and operations all over the world. All products are renewable and are made entirely of traceable European numbers or spruce.
Gruvön Sawmill is located in Grums about two miles west of Karlstad. The sawmill has about 110 employees. The sawmill produces approximately 350,000m3 annually and has a further processing in the form of pellet production. Together with Ala Sågverk in Ljusne we form Stora Enso Timber AB and are part of Stora Enso's Wood Products.
We are now looking for a Mill Controller to our organization in Gruvön.
Work description
As Controller you will be a member of the Operations Northern Europe controlling team. We offer you a great opportunity to be responsible for both mill level controlling tasks as well as some special assignments for total Operations Northern Europe unit. The work covers a wide range of controlling, analyzing & reporting tasks and offers a possibility to participate and run development projects. You will provide financial support and expertise for mill management and operations, develop processes & tools for operations controlling performance management and ensure operations controlling compliancy to rules & legislation. The work will also include KPI analysis, reporting and rolling forecasting, testing, documentation and compliance of internal controls.
Qualifications
Much of the work is self-directed and requires a high amount of proactivity and motivation. Therefore you have a sense of responsibility for daily routines as well as for demanding tasks. We are searching for a person with strong work ethic and with ability to multitask and quickly take in new information. Chosen person should have strong analytical skills together with a structured and systematic approach. It is a very large organization with lots of opportunities to advance within several areas.
You have a candidate degree in Economics and 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in controlling. Also other similar experience that we value equivalent can be considered. Knowledge of accounting and reporting tools is seen as a merit. (SAP, Hyperion, MS Office). You are fluent in both spoken and written Swedish and English.
