A Mill Controller
To our Swedish mills in Mariestad and Småland
Your role in future Metsä
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the mill management and providing analysis and reporting to facilitate decision making. You will also be part of a Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) team that will be responsible for a mill operating profit and management of the operations and business.
You will control variable and fixed production costs of the mill. You also create monthly and annual estimates as well as annual budget and long range plans. Monthly tasks will include new product calculations, transfer pricing updates, various benchmark analyses and controlling of investment and maintenance project including financial justifications. You will act as a super user for SAP CO module and Business Warehouse. Job will also require participation in finance and controlling projects, internal controls and supporting external and internal audits. Last but not least, the job will cover reporting of production key performance indicators, capital expenditure, headcount, standard costs, variances and deviations, etc.
In this role, you will directly report to Director, Operations Controlling and also have a dotted reporting line to VP Production. The position will be located at our mill in Mariestad and require occasional travels to Småland.
What are we looking for?
To succeed in this role, you need to have a proven experience in product costing, SAP (CO module), Business Warehouse and Excel. Proficiency in other MS Office tools beneficial. Knowledge of HFM and other reporting tools appreciated.
You demonstrate team working, effective communication, presentation and problem solving skills. As a person you are analytical, proactive, independent, well organized, result oriented and flexible. You also have fluency in English and Swedish.
You will also need to hold a master degree in accounting or finance and have a minimum three years professional experience in controlling.
