The Engineering departments for the Electrical Propulsion Systems are responsible to design and deliver Electrical Drive Systems, Battery Systems, Power Supply and Charging Systems for electrified vehicles.

In our group, Analysis and Verification, Electric Drive, we are currently in a search for a new colleague that will take over the role as Model in the loop tester.
We are now standing in front of the challenge to develop our own electrical machine for our future electrified cars. In the Analysis and Verification, Electric Drive group you will be in the middle of the advanced development of these machines. You will be working closely with our design team and developing new methods for verifying and analyzing.
You will be working in a virtual test environment and use state of the art methods to increase software quality by finding bugs and faulty behaviours. You will be part of an Agile Scrum team with testing as your main responsibility.

Your mission
You will act as Software tester to perform simulations for verifying the software components that control the electric machine on electrified vehicles, hence your main responsibilities will be:
* Create models in Simulink to evaluate software functionalities
* Create test suites for simulations to be performed in a software in the loop (SIL)
* Analyse simulation results and propose improvements in design
You will work in close cooperation with the software team in an agile setup. You will be expected to continuously improve software test strategies and procedures and deliver test results in a structured way.
You and your skills
We believe you have M.Sc. degree in Computer science, Electronics, Mechatronics or equivalent with at least 2 years of working experience. You have strong expertise in Matlab and Simulink and experience with Python or C/C++. Your data driven approach and good documentation skill will help you to excel in this position as well off course your interest and knowledge in scripting and automation, as this will be a great part of your job. Fluency in English is mandatory, as well as driving license "B", valid in Sweden, due to your attendance on various car testing.
It would be also appreciated if you would have knowledge in electric machines, inverters and general vehicle knowledge and experience in automotive industry. ISTQB certification, Swedish skills and previous experience with working in a team utilizing scrum methodology is an extra merit.
