As H&M is growing we need a new colleague who together with the rest of the team will focus on the development for Makeup/Body/Hair products and give create greater business alignment and support the development process in supply chain of the production in Europe.
As a Merchandiser for beauty you will be responsible to secure the development/quotation to the best suitable suppliers. You will benchmark price history record, planned production units and use capacity plans as tools when distributing quotations to H&M suppliers. You will also review the quotations from the suppliers and analyze the price and quality and provide possible requests for improvements.
Main Responsibilities
• Suggest alternatives and work proactively to reach best price, quality & lead-time.
• Follow up validate cost, investment, timing, and tool capacity obtained from suppliers.
• Follow up deadlines for developments/quotations and samples as per preorder method.
• Work closely with product developers, other merchandisers and chemist in order to secure best beauty products for the production.
• Exchange related information to the global team in an early stage for clear understanding.
• Secure an understanding between the global office, the production office and the suppliers via clear and effective communication.
We are looking for you who:
• Have long experience from the Beauty industry
• Have retail and/or fashion experience
• Have worked within similar positions in a global environment
• Have University education within relevant field
