On behalf of AstraZeneca we at Dfind Science & Engineering are now looking for candidates for consultant assignment within the pharmaceutical industry. During this assignment you will have the position as Medical Information and Patient Safety Officer placed at AstraZeneca in Södertälje.

Job description:
The main responsibility is to handle customer complaints from the Nordic Baltic countries, while ensuring timely and efficient complaint handling in the Nordic and Baltic countries.
Typical Accountabilities:
• Responsible for managing customer complaints
• Develops and maintains complaint systems and procedures
• Performs trending and analyses the trends in the complaints
• Identifies actions for reducing number of complaints
• Follows local trends and legislations
• Identifies potential quality issues within the complaints, raise this to Responsible persons, Quality Lead or Manufacturing sites
• Local Recall Administrator; Sweden
• Coordinates the work with CIP (Compliance Improvement plan)
• SOP owner
• Communicates with local Competent Authority
• Contributes to the development of an effective team
• Ensure personal competence development
• Contributes to the overall development of the department and positive attitude towards working and developing
• Active contribution to continuous improvements within the function
• Provides high quality, comprehensive, technical and scientific expertise and information for physicians, nurses and pharmacies on AstraZeneca product range.
• Handles Adverse Events from the local markets
• Assures tasks are of correct quality and in accordance with written procedures and current legal requirements and internal standards
Essential Requirements:
• Master's degree in Pharmacy or equivalent
• Excellent knowledge in English and local language (Swedish)
Desired Requirements:
• At least 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry, preferably in QA or in pharmacy
• Solid business acumen and a good GDP toolbox to apply
• Good at influencing and building relationships with senior stakeholders
• Ability to plan, communicate and drive processes and projects all the way to the finish line

• Operations customer complaint team

• Marketing function

• Pharmacies
