You are a medical doctor with a specialty within the area of clinical chemistry/laboratory medicine who wants to become our senior physician/consultant.
The department of Laboratory Medicine is an administration that has its activities spread throughout the county. We have about 300 employees, and the activities consist of clinical chemistry and transfusion medicine in Jönköping, Höglandet and Värnamo, microbiology and clinical pathology and cytology. We also have operations at 19 primary care laboratories in the county.
Our offer as a senior physician/consultant, you will participate and take responsibility in all aspects of the day-to-day operational work, methods development, quality monitoring, improvement work, procurement, supervision, training of staff and students.
You will take responsibility for leading the improvement process within the department. Additionally you will be responsible for ensuring that diagnostics are based on best practice and national and international guidelines.
