Do you have experience in thermal calculation?
We are looking for a Mechanical Designer who wants to develop products for the future of optical telecommunication. You have a genuine interest in mechanical design and want to be involved in the entire process, from requirements definition to the finished product. You like to work in projects with other disciplines. You are a team player but also able to move the work forward on your own.
The ideal applicant is interested in both mechanical and thermal design and can switch focus depending on the current project. The work is carried out in close cooperation with electronic and optical designers.
We are looking for someone who is curious, questioning, structured and thorough. You have a drive to get the work done and to seek the information needed in order to succeed.
Desired skills and experience:
• More than 10 years of professional mechanical design
• Experience of constructing chassis in sheet metal
• Experience in complex optofiber management both on electrical boards and chassis level
• Experience of thermal calculation and simulation
• Previous experience of SolidWorks and FloTHERM
• Good knowledge of English in speech and writing
