We currently have the following job opening;
Material specialist metal & polymer
You will manage the material data specifications and secure that each material used in a component is well specified and the material properties is well documented.
You will support engineering in question regarding material specifications and selections. To be the "go-to" person in all questions regarding material both metal and polymer.
You are a key person in the development and implementation of the process and system for Material Specification and handling.
You should be researching new and existing materials and assessing their suitability for use in the operations.
Responsibilities and tasks
• Key role in the development and implementation of the process and system for Material Specification and handling.
• Material expert in the CEVT R&D organizations
• Work with Geely Material department to ensure way of working and alignment in the field of material specifications and selection
Profile and Background
• M.Sc. degree in materials science or chemistry
• 2-5 years' work experience in the field
• Ability to drive, motivate and convince
• Good sense of details and well structured
• Persistency to pursue targets and able to respond to changing priorities
• A creative and curious mind
• Fluency in English, both oral and written
• Cultural awareness, especially Asian - European culture
