We're looking for a passionate polymer (rubber & plastic) material specialist to our Materials Technology & Chemistry organization within the Business Unit for High speed separator systems in Tumba.So, what are you going to do today?
Who you are
About the jobMaterials Technology & Chemistry is a department within the R&D for High speed separator systems with an own laboratory. We are working with material related commissions within the entire product life cycle together with R&D, Purchasing, Production, Market & Sales and After Sales.Some commissions are finished within a few days, while others extend over a longer period.Typical tasks for the position will be:
Act as material specialist in concept and product development project
Failure investigations of customer claims
Give advice in material selection
Perform chemical analysis, e.g. FTIR, DSC, TG and SEM
Perform mechanical and physical testing and evaluate aging behavior
Who are you?We believe that you have several years of experience of similar work combined with a University degree with relevant specialization.To be successful you must be open-minded, accurate, analytical and a good team player. We also expect you to be self-driven and work in a proactive way. It is important to understand the big picture and have the ability to see potential consequences.
