Thesis Areas
We have a multitude of areas which are of interest to us, for example back-end development, mechatronics, automotive, and telecom. We would like you to drive the proposal in the direction you want, innovation is something we strongly encourage! During the interview process we will discuss the actual scope of the project to find a good fit between your school and Knowits requirements on the thesis.
Below is a list of potential areas which you can draw inspiration from, though you can choose to write about anything else as well. We'd love to discuss your ideas further.
• Cloud Technology - Architectures, Services, Deployments
• Operating Systems - AUTOSAR, RT Thread OS, VxWorks
• Telecom - OSI model, Wireless Connectivity, Google Protocol Buffers, 3GPP
• Communication - IoT, CAN bus
• Embedded software development
What we offer
As a student at Knowit, you will get a unique insight into the consulting industry as well as valuable preparations for your career. We offer a safe environment for a smooth transition from studies to consultancy. You will have the possibility to sit in our office in Gothenburg where you get to enjoy all the benefits we offer, such as network evenings, AWs and exciting workshops.
Where: Hybrid (Knowit/customer/university) depending on thesis project.
Scope: 30 ECTS, with chance for full time employment afterwards.
When: Spring 2023, start on 17th of January for 20 weeks.
Compensation: 30 000 SEK per student after completed course.
Who are you?
We are looking for students who wants to begin their careers as consultants at Knowit. We think its more important with the right mindset rather than being an expert in the technologies right away, therefore we are looking for someone with the following characteristics:

• Solution oriented
Preferably you have a background in data science, mechatronics, IT, embedded software or similar. You have an interest in software development, innovation and sustainability and are curious about different industries such as telecom, automotive, consumer services among others.
About Knowit Connectivity
Knowit is a consulting company with a focus on IT and software development. At our unit at Knowit Connectivity, we focus on RnD, embedded, cloud and applications and are large in several areas. For example, we are active in exciting areas such as Infotainment, Active Safety, Electro Mobility, IoT, Autonomous Drive and the development of 5G. Our focus right now is on the technologies and opportunities of the future.
