• Communicating and coordinating the DFS estimates for the rail; civil;structural/mechanical/piping; and infrastructure to support the Capital Cost Estimate.
• Ensure the applicable specifications and design practices specific to Sweden areidentified and distributed to MSP engineering
• Review discipline drawings to ensure conformance to local specifications and regulations
• Assist in the resolution of Technical Clarifications
• Direct reporting to the project Sponsor.
• Advise on and assist MSP in administering the prevailing Conditions of Contract and ensure MSP's conformance in both the design and implementation phases.
• Ability to communicate with MSP Perth, give necessary directions, at regular Study Meetings on Technical and Swedish or Scandinavian contractual Practices and regulatory framework.
• Quality Assurance Requirements
• Ability to obtain the Vendor Data Requirements (VDDR) from regional suppliers;
• Develop Equipment Data Sheets
Preferred Skills
The preferred skill would be an Mechanical Engineer with experience in the hydrometallurgical industry or materials handling, bilingual in Swedish and English and preferably familiar with Australian Engineering design practices with an understanding of Engineering contracts in an International or common law setting
