The role

This Marketing assistant role belong to the Business Unit Oncology. The Marketing assistant provides support within the Business Unit, for the included brand marketing and sales activities. The role holder also manages arrangement of meetings and other market focused activities, works closely with the brand leads, brand managers within the business unit, local admin team and other marketing assistants across BUs.

This is a temporary position for approximately one year.

Typical Accountabilities

• Raise and manage purchase orders and payments to HCPs (Nordic activities and Oncology medical affairs meetings)
• Organizes, controls and delivers specific above market activities and services
• Webshop administration
• Collaborates with brand leads, brand managers and local Admin team to ensure communication material is developed and signed-off, including supporting annual review of material according to SOP
• Engages with agencies to manage and coordinate development and delivery of marketing material
• Controls projects ensuring delivery of project outputs according to plan
• Provide support on arrangements of details around Business Unit Sales and Marketing activities, e.g. internal meetings, educations, congresses, Nordic customer meetings
• Registrations and filings
• Travel arrangements for lecturers
• Coordination of possible follow-up material
• Communication, collaboration and back-up with the other Marketing Assistants
• Assures tasks are of correct quality and in accordance with written procedures and current legal requirements and internal standards

You must be able to drill down into the details and communicate challenges and possible obstacles at an early stage to the relevant parties in order to secure right delivery on time. You need to be able to manage above market projects across several functions to ensure integrated AstraZeneca approach in activities and deliverables

Customer needs
You understand what the customer wants and you offer your view of the tasks and deliveries at hand, to meet their needs and thereby maximise customer satisfaction. Having the ability to understand what the customer needs and the insights on what that means for you and the team in a practical sense will improve our common output towards the external customers and improve internal and external communication.

Minimum experience
• Excellent communication skills and knowledge in English language and one of the Nordic languages
• Ability to follow through and contribute to finding new effective processes / ways of working
• Specialist knowledge in relation to administrative/ business support activities in the relevant area
• Experience of Sales and Marketing assistant and or functional assistant work
• Competent in the use of relevant office equipment and systems
• Excellent computer and relevant software skills
• Customer Service Skills
• Knowledge of coordinating external events (including, LMER, sign off, invitations, booking letters, etc.)
• Possesses knowledge of AZ internal processes and systems
• Is knowledgeable about reputation management work and proactively work to ensure compliance with pharma code and code of conduct
• Prioritizes workload, to achieve personal and work unit targets

• Ability to work with others - works well with other people. Relates to them in an attentive and adroit way. Listens, communicates and resolves conflicts constructively

Varaktighet, arbetstid
Anställningen inleds med en visstidsanställning om 6 månader för att sedan gå över till en tillsvidareanställning.
