Qualifications and Experience:
• 5 years minimum experience at sea on product and / or chemical tankers (with a position in a senior rank).
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Ability to work in team as well as independently.
• Ability to travel at short notice.
• Shore side experience in a quality, vetting or commercial / operations department shall be a plus.
Main Responsibilities:
• Organisation and follow up of vetting inspections.
• Assist the operations department with nautical and technical studies.
• Follow up on vessels performances and customers KPI requirements.
• Carry out audits ashore and onboard.
• Ensure that the highest standards of quality, safety and operational efficiency are upheld across the fleet.
• Issue / follow up / update quality procedures.
A positive and constructive attitude to find solutions, to the benefit of our customers, is a prerequisite for the position.
You like teamwork and have capacity to make independent decisions. Our business includes intencive activities and you should manage to work under pressure. Keen interest in environmental matters is necessary.
Visits to ships, pre-inspections and travelling is a part of the job.
