MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be expected to project manage inspection of Materials and Components, regular inspection of ships incl damage analysis and further tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS
A Chief Engineer licence or Master or Bachelor degree in Marine Engineering. Naval Architecture or an appropriate engineering discipline.
Some years of applicable working experience in a responsible position such as certified seagoing engineer or superintendent in the shipping industry, supervisor at a shipyard or with a classification company.
Additionally to your professional experience you have a convincing attitude building strong personal and technical relationships and the ability to work in a skilled team with high flexibility.
Ability to work under pressure - even on tight schedules - and willingness to travel at short notice and undertaking investigations and assessments.
Finally we require good working knowledge of IT and MS Office tools and efficient communication skills in English for this position.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
Stationed in Örebro but ready to support our other offices in Stockholm and Gothenburg, on short or long terms.
