As a Continuous Improvement Champion you will train and support the organisation in lean manufacturing techniques, drive and facilitate workshops and improvement projects in order to reach operational excellence. You will deliver and continually stretching agreed financial and operational KPI's. By providing necessary training and support with increased responsibility among staff you will ensure the organizational development and empowered staff.
You will be the owner of the Operations Performance System (OPS) process and activities within the factory according to agreed group OPS standards and drive activities accordingly to roadmap and ensure that OPS training of employees is carried out continuously. You will report OPS results and activities to central function and participate in OPS meetings sharing best practices.
You will be a part of the local management team and report to the Factory Manager.
Responsibilities
• Plan and drive Kaizen workshops
• Perform GAP analyses on expected implementation
• Facilitate by identification, coaching,& training the reduction of the 8 wastes
• Lead local improvement projects as required for minor equipment installations, replacement upgrades and other line improvements/ installations
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks
Qualifications
• Degree or equivalent in engineering or lean process, 6 Sigma
• Project management experience
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience in a lean manufacturing role
• Experience from conducting risk assessments
• Experience from conducting audits
• Good knowledge of Lean systems preferably Auto / Aerospace
• Change management skills
• English and Swedish Fluently
