Role Summary/Purpose:

• Plan the day to day execution and technical support for the introduction and development of processes for testing and quality control of new products and existing manufacturing.
• Support efforts to consistently improve product and process quality focusing on testing methods.
• Interface with global counter-parts to achieve program goals.
• The daily work of the manufacturing process engineer has crucial effect on customer quality and delivery time.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Contribute to improved quality by identifying test issues, developing advanced test cost-effective solutions, and overseeing successful implementation into production.
• Work with manufacturing leadership to identify and resolve manufacturing and quality problems related to test; methods, processes, tooling, equipment and product design.
• Monitor and improve productivity through the use of Lean Six Sigma or related tools, while ensuring all customer commitments are met in a timely, quality and cost-conscious manner.
• Participate in early focus on manufacturing in New product implementations and/or Transfer projects. Drive rigor in process capability assessment, process layout, tooling and equipment development and QMS design transfer execution.
• Clearly understand existing processes in order to provide support for manufacturing process.
• Support and execute advanced manufacturing engineering initiatives with wide business impact and ensure to share best practice across the Global Supply Chain.
• Ensure regulatory compliance through Qualification and Validation. Responsible for ensuring rigor in determining processes requiring validation, development of plans and analysis criteria, execution and final analysis and acceptance.
• Help execute continuous simplification of QMS methods and their applications by working with cross-functional team including Operations and Quality Assurance. Work with the facilities and maintenance team to implement change and ensure the required product capacity is in place when it is required by customer demand.
• Contribute to trouble shooting during high pressure, due to i.e. production stop, with direct effect on customer quality and delivery times. To identify the root cause analysis the manufacturing process engineer need to encompass multiple variables and unknowns.
• Provide technical assistance by phone or in person to internal customers, field service personnel, or suppliers.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial engineering or equivalent, or related technical degree or an Associate Degree and significant experience in production, testing, engineering or troubleshooting.
• Strong commitment to identify improvement opportunities and drive actions to completion
• Understanding of software and hardware design
• Test tool experience
• Demonstrated strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Fluent in Swedish and English both verbal and written
• Demonstrated troubleshooting, planning, analytical and decision making skills
• Ability to work independently problem solving
