We are currently looking for a Manufacturing Manager to our Västerås Business Unit in Sweden. The Manufacturing Manager is responsible for our manufacturing services organization, ensuring that it performs according to our objectives regarding quality, on-time delivery, flexibility, efficiency and value-add share. In addition, long-term resource planning, lean manufacturing strategy - including our plans to increase automation, improve data visualization and layouts - are key ingredients of the job. The Manufacturing Manager reports to the Operations Manager and is a member of the operations management team. In turn, the production leaders and the team/shift leaders report to the Manufacturing Manager. Overall the manufacturing organization consists of some 110 employees.
Requirements
As the Manufacturing Manager you are a strong leader with a proven track record from similar positions. Preferably you hold an academic degree within the engineering or finance disciplines. In order to succeed in the position you must be able to laterally interact with colleagues and employees across the whole organization. You are unafraid of change and stay calm under pressure. You thrive by our challenges and are able operate with a high degree of flexibility and speed. You are able to engage and empower your team members and communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders from all levels.
The position requires a solid competence in ERP and MRP systems as well as fluency in Swedish and English, verbal and written. Know-how about lean manufacturing and manufacturing processes in the EMS industry are beneficial.
