We currently have the following job opening;
Manufacturing Engineer Paint and adhesives with R&D-competence
As Manufacturing Engineer you will work in the Module Team ME Paint and will be responsible to implement products in your area in our production plants. You will also have the responsibility to develop/ be involved in the Research and Development process (R&D) for your materials together with supplier, production plants as well as internal CEVT-teams.
The work will carried out in cross-functional teams located in Sweden and China.
Responsibilities and tasks
- Leading and coordinating the R&D and manufacturing process in your responsibility area.
- Participate in develop Technical regulations and specification in cross-functional teams for your area.
- Issue PII's (Process and Inspection Instructions) in Team Center as well as follow up/fine tune in prototype-builds.
- Identify and error proof/quality assurance systems in your area.
- Support startup of green field plants.
Requirements
- Technical competence at university level - chemistry or machine, or more than 10 years of experience in Surface treatment like phosphating, EC, sealing's, spray able elastomers and paint.
- Practical experience from Automotive Surface treatment process or in other way been working with surface treatment like Catia analysis for surface treatment
- Project leading ability.
- Report status and deviations in systems/tools and ensure action plans to ensure targets.
- Catia V5- and Team Center experience.
- Fluent English in spoken and written.
- Ability to travel, mostly to China.
