In this role, you will work both as a manager (about 30 % of your time) and as an algorithm developer (about 70 %). You will together with 4/5 other managers build a world class computer vision and algorithm group. As our new colleague, you will:
Together with the algorithm management team, lead the organization of the algorithm development
Lead 5-8 highly skilled algorithm developers at a personal level - regarding personal development, one-on-ones: everything that make your employees thrive!
Be responsible for growing your team by recruiting top talents. Engage in the creative process of product development, make sure we have an innovative yet structured environment so that ideas can be realized.
In your algorithm developer role, you will be an important part of the core technology team responsible for the development of eye tracking algorithms to be used in all our products. As a developer, you will:
Design, implement and improve algorithms for eye controlled products.
Analyze and tune algorithms to maximize performance.
Evaluate and optimize code to meet timing and memory requirements.

We are looking for someone who
To be successful in this role, and at Tobii, we believe you
Have had a team manager role before - or have been the informal leader and now want to take it to the next level!
Have a solid developer background and is knowledgeable in one or more of the following areas: signal and image processing, computer vision, machine learning, object tracking or software development (preferably C++).
Have an M.Sc. in engineering physics, computer science, mathematics or similar.
Have the passion and engagement to create an energetic and fun environment where developers thrive and can achieve their full potential.
We see it as a great plus if you have worked with software and/or algorithm development, especially for embedded systems. Previous experience programming in C++ and/or Python is also highly regarded.
