Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) are increasing safety for our drivers and other road users and is a highly prioritized area for Volvo Group. It is one of the fastest-growing safety application areas due to the desire to reduce vehicular accidents and fatalities. Beyond passive safety systems, active safety systems play a major role in reducing traffic fatalities and the monetary impact of vehicular accidents.
Traffic Situation Management is one of the groups within this Technology Area. The responsibility of this group is to create and develop our ADAS functionalities and features both for active safety purpose and driver assistance functionalities. The group are End User Function owners for all our ADAS functionalities like Advanced Emergency Brake Solution (AEBS), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Lane Keeping Support (LKS), Lane Change Support (LCS), Driver Alert Support (DAS) and Traffic Sign recognition (TSR) . The group are working with documentation, development and verification of the software within an continues integration environment and with the full lifecycle of the products, from concept to maintenance. At the moment we are developing our new generation platform with improved and additional functionalities to create L2+ ADAS functionalities.

In order to succeed in your new role we think you have:
MSc Degree in Electrical Engineering, Software, Physics, Mechatronics or similar
Leadership experience in People, Product or Project
Excellent communication skills
Experience in embedded software development
