Machine Automation owns and develops the technical specification for all systems within Tetra Pak Carton Bottle & Gable Top & Tetra Recart. In order to stay competitive, we must ensure that we have a cutting-edge automation and digital offering in our systems. We are now recruiting a Manager Machine Automation, which is a new position.
As Manager for the Machine Automation team, you will take ownership of and drive the automation and digital strategy and roadmap for our systems. You will also manage and develop our newly created automation team of 18 people, where we have gathered the competences for current and future challenges.
In this role you will interact with development Program teams in order to secure that we are working with correct requirements and expectations. Together with Tetra Pak Embedded Automation & Digitalisation and other stakeholders, you will have a joint development and implementation agenda.
If you have a keen interest in automation technology that you want to put in a commercial context, this is the challenge for you. We see you as a key player for your area of responsibility and you will drive all activities in that area.
Main responsibilities
• Own and drive automation and digital strategy and roadmaps for the entire platform organisation, based on requirements from key stakeholders.
• Lead and drive the team in competence development, strategy work, platform, product and technology development.
• Secure quantitative and qualitative deliveries from your team's area of responsibility in Technology and Product Development and Product Lifecycle (PLC) activities.
Qualifications
We are looking for a leader that has a strong personal drive and commitment to meet complex challenges and can easily act within our Agile framework. You have excellent communication skills that help you create engagement for your area of responsibility. You like to lead, drive and facilitate teams to achieve goals. Delegation & empowerment of your team comes naturally to you. Since you will be acting in a context with many different perspectives you are good at handling change.
You have a technical education, preferably a university degree. You have extensive experience from automation within machine development. It is an advantage if you have experience working with market companies and/or customers. Special attention will be paid to candidates with experience from project leader roles, management or other leadership roles driving change activities with 5-10 years of experience within the field. You have excellent command of both written and spoken English and Swedish.
