This is a dual role in contributing technically to customer opportunities and projects as well managing people, processes and software products. The software development manager will provide overall leadership to a small, specialized development team responsible for network provisioning software. The manager is accountable for planning and coordinating resources to meet projects on time and within budget and will also manage development and release processes with a focus on quality and efficiency. Additionally, they will take an active part in supporting projects and presales with subject-matter expertise in the field of network provisioning.
Job Functions:
1. Accountable for planning and managing resources for the team to meet timelines and budgets of development projects while providing support and maintenance on previous releases. Monitor project deliverables and progress through continuous communication with project tech leads. Proactively identify risks and issues and firmly manage them. In the role of scrum master, coordinate release and sprint planning as well as conducting regular stand-up meetings.
2. As overall accountable product owner for the network provisioning module of the core product, work closely with the team's architects to define and document requirements. In this regard, advocate for functional and technical decisions with the overall company and department goals in mind.
Supporting customer projects and presales as network provisioning subject-matter expert. Manage requirements and scope to meet the needs of the customer.
3. Oversee and develop team processes and be accountable for quality of releases and team efficiency. Collaborate with global delivery practice leaders to develop and implement strategies and initiatives.
4. Provide leadership to coach and motivate team members to grow to their best performance level and career development. Includes goals setting, performance reviews and employee wellness management. Work with HR for recruitment and hiring of staff.
This job requires domestic and/or international travel up to 15%. The majority of travel will be within EMEA, as this is where the majority of customers are based. However, there may be some global travel required.

The CSG Stockholm office is located in Münchenbryggeriet, Södermalm, with a beautiful view of the City Hall on Lake Mälaren. We are a small but highly skilled workforce with a multinational team.
