hela Sverige The function Global Service and Diagnostic Engineering have the responsibility for Operator?s Manuals, instructions and descriptions for maintenance, repair and diagnostics for the aftermarket. This also includes development of all special tools for these areas. Service and Diagnostic Engineering can be divided into the following main work areas:
• Supporting the requirement setting and verification/validation from a diagnoseability, serviceability, and repairability perspective
• Operator?s Manuals
• Diagnostics & Service Information
• Assembly instructions for aftermarket Kits.
Our mission is ?Service and Diagnostic Engineering shall contribute to increase the profit for customers and Volvo CE during the entire machine life by increasing the machine uptime and making the operators, dealers and mechanics more efficient?
The global function is represented at 8 different entities globally, where each entity has a main responsibility for one or more product line.
Currently the department in Braås contains of 14 direct reports.
As Manager Service and Diagnostic Engineering for the Braås entity you report to the Global Director Service and Diagnostic Engineering and you will be a member of the Global Management Team.
Main area of responsibilities:
• Develop the Service and Diagnostic Engineering function in Braås
• Implement Service and Diagnostic Engineering Global strategies and policies/ processes locally
• Be part of and contribute in Service and Diagnostic Engineering Global Management Team
• Set up the budget and follow up the agreed team budget
• Make time- and resource plans for the local team
• Secure the development of the local team competence
• Responsible and accountable for team deliverables

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and schedule work
• Achievement driven
• Strong cross-functional team player, with focus on customer service and quality
• Product knowledge with Volvo CE products or similar business
• Knowledge about and an interest in the end users needs regarding service and operator?s information
• Appropriate language skills in English
• Mechanical engineering or equivalent experience
