hela Sverige As Manager you will lead the department Quality Management System & Support, which is one out of three departments within the Volvo Aero Corporate Quality Staff. Its responsibilities are Quality Management, Process methodology, Operational Management System, Continuous Improvement method & tools and External networking. The department consists of 8 specialists with deep knowledge and experience. The other two departments deal with Information Management and Audit Management.
In this role you will be reporting to the VP Corporate Quality.
Job Description:
You will be a part of the Corporate Quality management team which has the responsibility to develop the Quality Staff in line with Volvo Aeros vision, the Business plan and the Quality Staffs operative vision. One important task for your department will be to further develop the operational management system together with the people in the process organization. The goal is to have a user friendly system which includes efficient standard way of working procedures.
Requested Qualifications:
Experience from using quality tools and methods such as OD, Six Sigma, Problem solving, 7MT + 7CT, 5S etc. is a merit
We expect you to have an engineering background and at least 5 years of relevant experience
College education in engineering or equivalent experience
Documented managerial and/or leadership experience
A background within quality engineering is a merit
Experience from Production, Product Development, or other areas
Personal profile:
Ability to create an inspiring and motivating climate
An open and positive attitude
Strong communication skills in English and Swedish, written and spoken
You have teaching skills and you like to share your knowledge with others
Ability to establish and maintain good relations with your internal partners
A basic knowledge and interest in process management
Ability to coach, support and lead teams
Flexible, open minded and interest to learn
