We currently have the following job opening;
Manager Product & Portfolio Strategy
This position is a key position in the Product Portfolio Strategy/Product Planning Department (PS/PPL). We are responsible for the Strategic Powertrain Plan for both the Geely and Lynk & Co brands, globally.
Responsibilities and tasks
- Manages the Annual Cycle Plan / Volume Plan work
- Develops the Powertrain Plan for assigned Vehicle Line(s) to create a competitive offer, meet regulations (Emission, CAFÉ, etc.), and fulfill desired vehicle market position
- Leads Powertrain study requests and reports outcome to Cycle Plan Team / EMC&P / Product Strategy Committee
- Leads powertrain optimization process to determine appropriate level of architectural complexity
- Leads Powertrain competitive analysis
- Supports the Group CO2 strategy and reports regularly
Profile and Background
- 10+ years of Automotive Product Planning
- Master degree in International Business, or the equivalent experience
- Extensive experience in Powertrain planning
- Excellent knowledge of the Chinese Automotive Market
- First hand experience in Cycle Plan process work
- Excellent analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills, written and spoken, Chinese and English
- Cross-cultural sensitivity, especially Asian - European culture
- Geely background preferred
