Job description
Product development operates closely with product management, sales, production and other parts of innovation and R&D in Consumer Board Division. The main tasks are to lead, coordinate and develop human resources, knowledge and methodologies for efficient board and barrier product development including work safety with special focus on Skoghall and Fors product portfolios.
Qualifications
In the role as manager for product development, it is important to find conditions for engagement and motivation of work within the Team. This in combination with customer focus will lead to the creation and development of ideas for improvement of existing products and development of new packaging materials. It is essential that you have good analytical skills and ability to value technology readiness of new innovative solutions for efficient large-scale implementation. It is required that you have at least seven years of experience in demanding positions in the pulp and paper industry as well as a Technical University or Institute MSc degree or a higher degree in Paper Technology, Board Converting or Coating Technologies.
The ability to maintain and develop worldwide networks in pulp and paper is a desired skill for this position. It is also required that you have a good knowledge of consumer board products, its processing, cost-base and end-use. A good capacity in both presenting and writing English with an excellent ability to cooperate and experience from leading major projects.
