We are looking for a Manager, who will take the responsibility to develop and lead a group of skilled category managers on a Nordic level. The categories are related directly to our business within asphalt and stone materials at NCC Industry.
You will be a part of a Nordic team and work closely together with your colleagues in purchasing, and other key stakeholders both internal and external on identifying business improvement projects and sourcing opportunities, with the purpose to make our Business Area more competitive.
Key responsibilities:
• Establish and lead a team with Category Managers, securing a good development and positive working environment in the team
• Build structure and operating model for category management cross functionally within the business area
• Drive the execution of specific category strategies according to guidelines
• Understand local business requirements and markets conditions
• Coordinate cross border implementation and drive the category work
• Run supplier development and performance
• Create results, set goals and deliver financial results, and create clear value-based improvements
Your Profile
• You are a change agent who gets things done, with high integrity, based on the NCC values and Star Behaviors.
• You have a open-minded and sociable personality with great cooperation, communications, and leadership skills.
• You have completed a Master 's Degree (e.g., engineering, law, business administration, commercial degree) and vast experience from large industrial companies
• You have a thorough knowledge and understanding of financial business acumen and are independently able to perform and communicate industrial analysis.
• You have the capability to communicate and implement your ideas, and collaborate with various stakeholders, colleagues and suppliers.
• You have a high degree of curiosity and interest in understanding the business and value chain in large organizations. Nordic work experience in an industry will be an advantage.
• You have excellent presentations skills, and work fluently in English as well as in a Nordic language.
Additional info
This is a permanent position and placed at one of our NCC offices in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, Oslo or Copenhagen. Travelling within the Nordic Countries will be required. In this position you will be reporting to Head of Purchasing BA. In accordance with NCCs safety culture we conduct background checks on final candidates.
