The company holds licenses for a variety of clothing brands in both Sweden and Norway. Through the end of 2019 and the year 2020 - we are launching a series of 2-3 monobrand retail stores for one of our brands, U.S. Polo Association. These monobrand stores will be opening in strategic cities across Sweden, starting with Charlottenberg. These stores will open as part of our initiative to build up the U.S. Polo brand in Scandinavia, and employees that work with us have potential to be part of our team going into the future with more stores opening.
We are looking for a manager with experience and qualifications in a few key areas. As we are opening multiple stores in Sweden over the next year/year and a half - we need a person with a keen eye for merchandising, sales logistics and leadership. Work responsibilities include being a lead sales representative on the sales floor, leading other employees, financial/accounting tasks, merchandising, strategy meetings with the company leadership, hiring, B2B partnerhip management and more.
In terms of experience and competence, the person we are looking for should posess knowledge for merchandising, business relations, sales and logistics. You should be capable of working independently, meaning you are able to initiate your own schedule based on a set of priorities from our team. You should be highly skilled in communication - being able to lead other people and work in a team environment. Lastly we are looking for someone with at least minimal experience with IT and software systems related to store operations.
We would prefer to hire someone who has management and sales experience, someone who has worked in team environments before and can show us indications of leadership qualities. Most importantly we are looking for someone with merchandising experience and theoretic knowledge to make educated decisions.
