As the Maintenance Manager, you will play a key role in the on-going work to bring maintenance to the next level, ensuring that manufacturing continues to meet the company's increased demands on growth. You will join the Engineering Leadership team and report directly in to Director Engineering, based in Uppsala.
You will be leading a team of 26 people, including two team leaders as well as maintenance and automation engineers, planers, control & instrumentation technicians, mechanics and system administrators. As the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for maintenance and calibration of the production equipment and machines according to established routines and plans.
Together with your leadership team you will lead and develop the team members and maintenance processes to ensure that production runs smoothly and cost-effectively; without production interferences, both in the short and long term. You will also be responsible for the budget, managing the working environment, following up on KPIs and working continuously according to LEAN principles, ensuring the department continuously develops and moves forwards.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
The role suits someone who:
• Has completed a university degree within production, an industrial or technical field, or with equivalent experience.
• Has several years of experience of working in a maintenance role with leadership responsibilities and change management experience.
• Is used to working towards goals and is good at coordinating between different Production and Engineering functions.
• Ideally has previous experience of working with LEAN and in a similar line of business.
• Works in a structured and organised manner
• Speaks and writes both Swedish and English fluently
You are a strong communicator who is able to work with people at all levels and as a manager you are constructive in your way of communicating, as well as being an active leader who motivates their team.
