We are currently looking for a Manager within our Global Strategy and Operations.
MANAGER, GLOBAL STRATEGY AND OPERATIONS
Working in the Office of the Worldwide Managing Partner (WMP), the Manager will have an opportunity to impact Bain's business by translating Bain's strategic priorities and progress into compelling communications with various internal and external audiences. This role will be tasked with thinking like an executive and crafting executive-level communications, distilling insights, and owning select analysis. In addition, this individual will develop expertise in co-creation and support strategic meeting design.
The Manager is an integral part of a small team comprised of the WMP Chief of Staff, Director of Strategy and Operations, Executive Assistants, marketing experts, and misc. resources that support key initiatives on a rotational basis.
Key Responsibilities and Functions:
Develop WMP Internal Communications
Develop key messages, storyline and flow
Gather information (e.g., client result stories) from relevant stakeholders and analyze internal data
Coordinate with Graphics and Video teams for effective communication materials production
Support WMP's programmatic client and external interactions
Help design, test, and evolve a programmatic approach to WMP's client interactions
Liaise with account teams to distill key talking points before engagement and support WMP's preparation and follow-ups
Support Bain executive sessions
Help to distill and codify engagement best practices for Board and Global Operating Committee
Support design and execution of co-creation or other interactive sessions
Inspire Teams
Proactively contribute to team morale, learning and sense of spirit
Work closely with Director to develop work plan for the team and share progress
Seek opportunities for PD development and team sustainability by taking the lead for special projects
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree is required; Bachelor's degree in Business or Communications is preferred. MBA is preferred
Experience in consulting
Experience working with senior executives for strategy development or implementation including internal or external communications desired
Strong problem-solving skills to navigate issues related to corporate strategy development and implementation of a complex organization
Ability to work with senior stakeholders on strategy-related topics and influence large and diverse groups of people (both internal and external)
Sound business judgement, with ability to anticipate firm needs and identify practical solutions
Strong verbal, written and presentation skills including drafting impactful storyline and owning content & slide development are important
Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and juggle multiple tasks simultaneously

Fluency in English
