Our current Finance function is being transformed into a Global Business Control function, with increased responsibility for global business control. The purpose is to make our business more service-oriented and even more cost-effective and predictable for our customers. We are looking for someone who can use their management and specialist competencies to take the lead in that process.
Key performance areas
The Global Business Control function includes financial accounting and control for Sandvik IT Services AB, as well as business control for the global operation of Sandvik IT Services. The global responsibility includes financial reporting and control, scorecard, budget and forecasts, price models and financial flows. Change areas of major focus are developing and implementing a global financial model.
As Manager for Global Business Control you will lead the work at the unit. You will participate in the strategic work, developing the company to become a service integrator and preferred IT service supplier within Sandvik. Major areas of work are strategic and financial responsibility for the function, and management responsibility for staff within the function. You are a member of the executive management team and you report to the company?s President.
Key responsibilities as manager include:
• Responsibility for the unit's objectives and strategies
• Representing the function in the management team and other forums
• Representing the function in contacts with other parties
• Managing employees within the unit, including performance management and competence development
• Responsibility for financial budgeting, reporting and follow-up
Your profile
You hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration or have equivalent experience, including managerial experience. Experience from service businesses, finance and IT is an advantage. You work strategically, are result-oriented, communicate well in English and know how to build effective teams.
