As Manager ESP you are safeguarding the supplier base to fit our strategical product portfolio, assuring competitiveness, quality and customer requirements. You will manage, lead and support a team of Planners/Purchasers and Quality Engineers managing the overall activities striving for unbeatable customer experience.
As Manager ESP, product sourcing and customer supply are two main areas of responsibility.
The product sourcing responsibility includes
• Requires to fulfill SKF Purchasing policy
• Development of supplier strategy
• Evaluate and ensure supplier selection
• Supplier development activities
• Establishment of contracts for pricing, business terms and transportation
• Measure and follow up supplier performance
The customer supply responsibility includes
• Quote handling
• Assurance of optimized delivery from source to customer
• To ensure customer requirements and environmental considerations
• To ensure that product quality meets requirements
• Measure and follow up on supplier performance
Your day-to-day work
• Manage local ESP team
• Oversee and lead Planning, Buying and related activities
• Measure, analyze and develop the supplier base to fit our portfolio needs
• Continuously improve operational KPI 's and result
• Optimize service and inventory levels
• Create, manage and report Activity Plan actions
We expect you to have
• Technical or Business degree or equivalent work experience
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Supply chain work experience
• Willingness to travel (appr. 10-15%) and work in different countries and cultures
• Experience in Elastomers and Engineered Plastics is meritorious
• Experience working in SAP business systems is meritorious
