Beskrivning av arbetsuppgifter: As an engineer, program you will, through close collaboration with customers and internal functions, ensure that all steps and phases are completed at the right time and cost to secure the development of new sealing systems. - Application of product designs in order to meet customer specification by minimum of cost - Support customer engineers providing technical solutions. - Analysis of Customer designs - Carry out feasibility studies, tolerance studies, FMEA analysis and DV-Testing - Drive internal APQP process - New product launches internal and external, time, cost and technical expectations to Senior Management reviews. - Utilise the prototype facility in order to validate designs and support production start of vehicle builds. - Cooperation with internal Materials Group to ensure that appropriate materials are specified for products. - Cooperation with our manufacturing divisions to ensure that products are designed for the best possible manufacturing capability - Support plants with technical expertise - Carry out cost reduction proposals through VA/VE analysis - Cross functional cooperation with CAD engineers, laboratory engineers and R&D engineers. - Ensure continuous improvements in all phases.
Beskrivning av kvalifikationer: To be successful in this position you must have good organizational skills and work well as part of a team. You should be able to lead and influence people on all levels in the organization - Master of Science in engineering, or equivalent. - 5 Experience from automotive OEM suppliers Tier 1 or Tier 2. - Experience in Sealing systems - Strong drive and be able to work independently. - Strong communication skills (verbal, written and listening). - Fluent in English. Swedish, German and French is advantageous. - Demonstrated experience in leading problem solving and orientation of tasks and objectives - Previous experience of automotive standards and core tools ex FMEA, APQP - Experience of Lean and Six Sigma.
