Dina arbetsuppgifter
E-machines (electric motor-generators) are used for vehicle propulsion in AAM's electric driveline systems. They have power outputs between 10 and 300 kW and work at voltages up to 1000 V. TTC is organized around functions with small self-governing teams assigned to functional responsibilities. These teams take responsibilities for all activities and deliveries regarding their functions, from initial design to final verification. The purpose of this position is to manage the engineering teams responsible for the e-machines at AAM's corporate center of expertize in vehicle driveline electrification at TTC in Trollhättan, Sweden.
The position integrates deeply with supplier design and development teams as well as with internal expert AAM teams in areas such as testing and CAE on a global basis.
This includes:
• Manage a group of 10-15 highly skilled engineers divided into 2-3 self-governing function teams responsible for all our traction e-machines.
• Coaching and training your engineers in the modern work methodology with decentralized empowerment that is used at TTC.
• Assist and support your teams, help removing obstacles, enabling them to reach their delivery targets and improvement goals.
• Manage the groups (cost centers) budget.
• Solve problems outside of the reach of your teams.
• Strategic competence and personnel development for your area of responsibility.
Din profil
We believe that you have a MSc or higher in a relevant engineering discipline and several years of experience from work with electric machines. It is essential that you have a solid foundation in the subject matter expert area, design and development of electrical machines, as well as talent and interest in leading and developing people.You also need to be a good communicator.
Qualifications:
• MSc or higher in a relevant discipline.
• Several years of experience from work with electric machines.
• Some previous leadership experience.
• You must be fluent in English, our primary working language. An additional working language such as Swedish or German is an advantage.
• You will need a driver's license for passenger car.
• Travel is required.
