Getinge Group is in an exciting and intensive period of change. To one of our three Business Category Units (BCU), Patient and Post-Acute Care (PPAC) we are now looking for a Manager with responsibility for category optimization. Initially you will manage a large scale category optimization/life cycle management project regarding the PPAC portfolio globally (exceeding 7 billion SEK in revenue). You will be a key player as we are strengthening our work regarding category optimization, which is one of the big 5 initiatives in the One Getinge Strategy. You will take part in an interesting journey where you will be a part of a team driving strategic projects in PPAC. You will interface with a wide variety of stakeholders in a global fast-paced manufacturing organization with high ambitions!

The position

Initially the main objective for this position is to reduce SKU complexity across product range in PPAC globally and ensure best-in-class life cycle management. You will be responsible for establishing and implementing continuous category optimization processes and ensure recommendations are implemented with alignment across several stakeholders. You will interface with various functions such as Global Solution Management, Supply Chain, Finance, R&D and sales regions. Longer term you will work on other strategic projects to drive both revenue and cost optimization.

Among your main responsibilities and tasks will be:
• Develop and implement category optimization/life cycle management framework
• Drive complex analysis following a set framework regarding sales, profitability and qualitative measures
• Lead cross functional workshops to generate recommendations and alignment
• Consult and influence internal leaders and partners on category optimization strategies and processes
• Manage and support implementation of category optimization recommendations
• Drive other strategic projects for the PPAC organization related to Pricing and New Business Models

The position is ideally based in Malmö, Sweden and you will report to the Director, Pricing & New Business Models. Since you will have a global scope, you should expect international travel, average 20 % on an annual basis.


The ideal candidate

As ideal for the position you have at least 1-3 years' experience preferably within one of the following areas: management consulting, financial/business analysis or strategy. You have a Masters or MBA in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering or similar, which you have passed with great results.

Some of your key characteristics include:
• Experience with driving and managing projects
• Experience within business, market and / or financial analysis
• High degree of creativity, excellent problem solving skills and analytical capabilities
• Strongly data driven and highly proficient in Excel
• Experience within SKU optimization and medical device industry is an advantage not a must
• Emotional maturity and ability to create change in an environment where the organizational structure may evolve rapidly
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills and an ability to communicate efficiently with a wide range of people
• Ability, talent, commitment and ambition to assume increased scopes of responsibility in organization
