Are you looking for an opportunity to work in a position which embodies both development of automation solutions and your leadership skills further?
The Automation Engineering department within Carton Value & Economy in Lund is divided in two teams and we are now looking for a Manager for the General Automation part. The team is responsible for common technologies for both Filling machines and Downstream equipment e.g. Electrical design and safety, HMI, PLMS, and Motion control. It is also securing the automation quality in the DRMs and managing obsolescence and a large electrical lab. In this role, you will lead a team of dedicated and skilled automation engineers and be part of the Filling Machine management team.
Main responsibilities
• Manage, lead and develop the General Automation team
• Drive automation solutions in the projects
• Drive the identification of needs and support for both Filling machines and Downstream equipment
• Drive the development of tools and methods
• Be part of the Filling Machine management team
• Drive validation and deployment of common technologies
• Be part of various automation forum
• Scout new technologies
Qualifications
To be successful in this position you have proven leadership and people skills. You are result oriented and self motivated with a continous improvement mindset.
You are a strong communicator and collaborator who are good at motivating and coaching others. You find it rewarding to support other people to grow and develop their competence.
You have work life experience in the area of automation solutions and preferably a University degree within engineering. Futher you have experience from previous leadership roles combined with an ambition to lead a team of specialists. You possess excellent communication skills and are fluent in English both written and verbal.
