What about the job
What about the jobApplication Management supports and manages the business applications for Alfa Laval world-wide from our three regional hubs located in the US, India and Sweden.
You will also be part of a team driving the resolution of identified problems with the main objective of improving customer experience by preventing incidents and problems from reocurring.
The Manager of Application Management EMEA will:
Lead, manage and develop the Application Management staff within the EMEA region in accordance with our Alfa Laval drivers.
Motivate, train, inspire and encourage our biggest assets: our employees!
Ensure the Application Management staff provides support, maintenance and administration of applications to meet business objectives and requirements.
Actively work as a Problem Manager to prevent incidents and problems for occurring or reoccurring.
Ensure the staff understands their roles and provide clear feedback on individual performance as well as collective team goals.
Promote competence development of each individual and challenge them to reach their highest potential focusing on customer and service-oriented behavior.
You will complement these activities with your exceptional leadership skills and continuous improvement mindset.
What you know?We are convinced you have knowledge of business application support and maintenance, broad technical knowledge, a university degree, and at least 4 years' relevant experience preferably from an international company.
In addition, you have:
4+ years' experience leading, coaching and managing a team of direct reports providing application support to the business
Practical experience working with ITIL, primarily Incident and Problem Management
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
Effective communication and presentation skills
