Furthermore, our mission is also to shorten the time to productivity for PLM users by providing effective training and support according to service level agreements and continuously improving the applications. We improve and follow-up business value from PLM by driving the PLM Vision and long-term roadmap. We deliver the right functionality with high quality in a predictive manner to business and PLM Operations by delivering projects on time/cost/scope with a clear hand over process.
The main PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) applications are Teamcenter, Creo and AutoCAD Electrical and so far it covers both R&D and Production functionality and the functional area are growing. We have a large roadmap of future projects both with new functionality, upgrades and improvements as well as migrations and new site roll outs.
As a department, we have grown a lot over the last couple of years and have therefore recently reorganized the department were application maintenance is a new organizational team and have a clearly defined work area. You will have the chance to influence how we should work within application maintenance and build the team.
Application Maintenance within PLM Solutions
The purpose and goal for the application maintenance team is to provide a stable and reliable PLM environment for the business and through the continuous improvement process meet the changing requirements from the business as well as internally. It includes:
- Maintenance of existing applications ensuring application quality - from single tasks to multiple tasks with a need for coordination
- Execute deploy cycle according to plan
- Frontend for change requests
- Backend for PLM Project Office and PLM support, responsible for infrastructure and integrations within projects.
- Responsible for Service Level Agreement (SLA) towards Epiroc IT
- Continuous dialogue with IT suppliers
- Managing licenses
Job description
In this role, you will build, manage and lead the application maintenance team and ensure the efficiency and delivery capability. You will have employee responsibility and management of consultants which is a large part of this management role. It is important to be able to build relationships with other internal service providers related to our PLM business as well as the application supplier's relationships (applications & licenses). You will in this role also be a member of the PLM Solutions management team.
Education, Knowledge and Experience
To succeed in this role, you need a university degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience. Proven manager experience is also required as well as working knowledge both in English and in Swedish. Experience of application maintenance and/or IT systems and infrastructure is also an important competence for this role.
Furthermore, it is preferable to have experience in change management as well as having good knowledge of, and interest in the PLM domain. Decent knowledge of the MR- business in its broadest sense or similar manufacturing business and knowledge of the Atlas Copco/Epiroc organization is a quality with high value for us.

To succeed in this role you should be confident in managing different expectations from various stakeholders. You should also be confident in managing different types of tasks and be able to prioritize, be a team player and too see your teams' contribution as well as the ultimate goal. More important personality trades is to be self-controlled, communicative and have a natural drive and independence. You should also be confident in a leading position and see yourself as a natural leader which includes being a good planner and organizer.
