We are now looking for a manager to our High Volume Quality team. THE HIGH VOLUME QUALITY TEAM The High Volume Quality function works in the volume phase and takes over when the development projects do their hand-overs. The responsibility includes to (1) follow-up and develop the performance of our contract manufacturers and component suppliers, (2) audit new and existing suppliers, (3) qualify the production processes of 2nd source suppliers, (4) analyze and drive corrective actions of customer claims related to production, (5) analyze customer return data and drive improvement activities.
The team of 10 persons is spread out geographically, where the majority (6 persons) is based at our headquarters in Lund, Sweden, 3 are located in China and 1 in Malaysia. The regional Supplier Quality Engineers manage the auditing and continual development of our component suppliers in China and South East Asia, both in the project phase and in the volume production phase.
WHAT WILL YOU DO? Your role will be to lead and develop the team, make sure we utilize our resources efficiently and develop our ways of working in line with our core values with the ultimate goal to ensure that we deliver products and solutions that meet our customers' expectations. You will represent the quality function in the Maintenance steering group. You will report to the Director Quality & Environment within Operations. The quality and environment function also comprises a team of project quality engineers and environment engineers.
The role includes approximately 40 days of international travel per year.

You have:
Previous manager experience
Minimum 6 years of experience from working with quality assurance
Very good understanding of quality management methods and tools such as Lean, FMEA, SPC, gauge R&R, 8D etc.
Good understanding of various manufacturing processes
It is an advantage if you also have:
A Master's Degree within Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration or other relevant area
Experience from working with supplier development
