hela Sverige Camfil AB is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead global development projects. The position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to something essential to everyone - clean air for health, well-being and performance.
To increase our efforts in developing tomorrow's products for a cleaner air for the global market, we are now recruiting a proactive and self-going Project Manager. You will be reporting to the VP of Research & Development and be based at our main innovation hub in Trosa, Sweden - the Tech Centre. Today, there are about 25 professionals working with research and development and another 15 professionals whom develop new production equipment and industrial processes at the Tech Centre.
In addition to the Tech Centre, Camfil Group have other R&D facilities in USA and Malaysia for researching and developing everything from comfort air filters and clean room filters, to AMC filtration solutions and gas turbine filters, among other key product areas.
Role and responsibilities
As Project Manager, you will lead cross-functional projects in an entrepreneurial and international environment. You will work closely with our product managers, laboratories, production units, sourcing and marketing teams so strong cooperation and motivational skills are important. The role requires some travel mainly in Europe but may also include Asia and America.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Communicating with the product managers and actively engage with the organization's customer focused innovation approach.
• Running concept development of prototypes for insight and client value based product development.
• Manage the product development project from idea to complete industrialization working alongside the project managers.
• Schedule, coordinate and log the development project through all detailed functions using our XLPM-based project process.
• Report directly to steering committee.
• Continually monitor the deliverable and time/budget limitations for the project
Personal Qualities/Skills
To be successful in this role, we believe you have experience from similar positions in other companies. In addition, you have/are:
• At least 5 years of experience of project management
• A relevant education - MSc or other engineering degree
• Substantial interest in new technology, innovation and product development.
• Passionate about the idea to design and develop new products for a cleaner air and a more healthful environment.
• Able to multi-task and work under pressure to achieve deadlines.
• Highly organized and analytic with ability to see the overall picture of the project.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
