In the role of service technician in maintenance, you will, together with your colleagues, work to keep the production equipment in the best condition to contribute to efficient and high-quality manufacturing.
Your Responsibilities
* Repairs and troubleshooting of process equipment.
* Improve equipment uptime and manage equipment upgrades.
* Participate in installation projects for new equipment acquisitions.
* Participate in enhance maintenance routines.
* Read and interpret electrical diagrams, mechanical drawings, pneumatic diagrams, flowcharts, as well as cause-and-effect diagrams.
* Troubleshoot and diagnose maintenance events or tool issues.
* Understand and work according to safety and environmental standards.
* In addition to the above, you are responsible for developing and maintaining accurate documentation of necessary work procedures. You also ensure the continuous availability of an adequate supply of spare parts.
The Bigger Picture
You will be part of a team consisting of engineers and service technicians, reporting to the Maintenance and Facility Manager. The position is full-time and involves the evening shift, so you will work Monday to Thursday between 13:40-23:15. Your working time is 36.30 hours/week with paid overtime.
The intended start date is as soon as the right person can be in place. We work with ongoing selection, and the position may be filled before the final application deadline.
Our Expectations
We place great importance on your personal qualities, but to be eligible for this role, it is a requirement that you:
* are fluent in English, both spoken and written.
* have worked in a similar role before and, therefore, have knowledge/experience in one or more of these competencies: practical knowledge and application of mechanics, electronics, vacuum systems, or testing.
* also have knowledge of troubleshooting techniques and the ability to disassemble, repair, and reassemble equipment according to manuals, diagrams, or instructions.
It is advantageous if you have experience in equipment maintenance in manufacturing or similar industries. It may also be beneficial if you have good knowledge of Swedish.
