hela Sverige The Site Service Department in Stockvik is a crucial function for the AkzoNobel Production Site in the Sundsvall area. The organization will primarily support and create synergies for AkzoNobel's production units in Stockvik, thereby also strengthening their long-term competitiveness. AkzoNobel's production units aim for a trouble free production process through a high level of continuous improvement. The Site Service department operates really integrated with the production units to support this vision. The department consists of Maintenance, Infrastucture, Technical Support and Administration.
We aim to reach maintenance in world class at our Maintenance department in Stockvik, Sundsvall, and are now looking for a new Maintenance Manager responsible to lead, manage and develop the maintenance organization. You report directly to the Site Service Manager and are responsible for just below 20 people with 8 employees reporting directly. The Maintenance department includes Planning, Kitting, Maintenance engineering and Warehouse.
About the role:
As Maintenance Manager you are responsible to ensure cost efficient operations of the maintenance processes and department for all production units at our multisite in Stockvik. Key objectives are Safety, Efficiency (cost), Quality, Asset integrity and project execution.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
• Develops the maintenance processes and skills of the maintenance department towards a world class maintenance according to AkzoNobel Leading Performance System, ALPS.
• Continuously develop and optimize processing function.
• Manage Maintenance costs to ensure adherence to the existing budget.
• Follow up and act on KPIs specific to the processing function
• Prepare and plan maintenance shutdowns jobs
• Identify gaps in the skill level of the staff and plan training
• Ensures that the maintenance operations is being performed according to applicable laws and permits as well as AkzoNobel policies regarding Health, Safety and Environment.
Job requirements
• Bachelor degree in the relevant fields, such as mechanical engineering or equivalent
• Maintenance Specific education and 5-7 years of experience in maintenance
• Leadership Experience
• Knowledge and understanding of health, security, environmental and energy issues
• Deep knowledge in SAP PM and work flow
• Overall knowledge of the disciplines within maintenance
• Good understanding of Lean and maintenance processes and tools for root cause analysis.
• Excellent skills in Swedish and English, writing and oral communication
