The main focus of the Maintenance Engineer is to lead and manage maintenance and innovations projects in a specific area. The Maintenance Engineer will also be required to work with the Area Operations Team to implement innovations relating to new products or equipment for the operating area. This role is a key role on site to ensure â'vertical start up' of new equipment and products and you will be responsible for managing a budget of around 20 million SEK.

Key responsibilities
• Ensure that all quality targets relating to maintenance and innovation deliveries are met
• Lead projects and work with the Area Operations Team to deliver maintenance innovations for the area
• Work with the development, quality, planning, purchasing and operations to ensure maintenance and innovations are delivered on time
• Communicate plant requirements through a task force and input requirements into charter documents
• Co-ordinating with the plant project team on network timings and day-to-day issues.

Could this be U?
To be successful in this role you should either have a university degree preferably within industrial or mechanical engineering or you have equivalent work experience. Your technical interest and drive needs to shine through everything you do. If you have working knowledge of Microsoft Projects, CAD, Excel or similar we see it as meritorious. It is also a plus if you have experience within the FMCG area. The role requires you to be fluent in Swedish and English. Previous experience as a project manager or similar is great to have.
The right candidate should be able to lead and engage people whilst standing your ground and focusing on the goal. Therefore you need to have a strong drive, be proactive towards issues and opportunities as well as having the ability to build relationships that deliver the right results. We also want you to be analytical and structured together with a good team spirit and strong communication skills. We are looking for someone with a "work smarter, not harder"- attitude.
