This role is part of our Operations Support team and it also includes the procurement of the services related to the exchanges such as cranes and teams.
You will project manage the full process from planning to finalizing a main component exchange. Our Major Component team in Germany will support you with the availability of the components (gearboxes, blades, main bearings etc.) and you will source cranes, tools, local transports and the exchange team. In addition, you will be responsible for reportingand tracking the cost throughout the project.
You will provide guideline of the costs related to the main component exchanges in the countries of the region, and you will support the organization in the budget process. You will report to the Operations Support Manager in Uppsala but you can be located in any of our offices in the Northern Europe region, i.e. in the UK, Ireland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Lithuania, Poland or Rumania. Most of these countries have their own local organization that will be your counterpart in the exchange processes.
Key accountabilities re. main components
• Monitor tooling containers and help with logistics
• Conclude framework agreements with suppliers
• Ensure availability of all after sales demands
• Schedule exchanges and inform interfaces on time
• Single point of contact for central Materials Management
• Ensure documentation
• Responsible for
* Procuring special tooling for major component exchanges and service works
* Planning main component demands and updates
* Sub Contractor procurement with a volume of more than 10K
* Supplier procurement
Career / Job experience
• Relevant work experience ideally from the wind industry
• Experience in a planning or in a technical role
• Experience in project management
• Some experience in tendering processes
Education and Qualification
• Formal qualification in engineering (Bachelor or Masters in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or education regarding mechanical and/or electrical components) or comparable
• Business management qualification prefferred
• Computer literate, thorough knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office products
• Fluent in English
