Machining Process Development is a part of Technology Platforms, which consists of several applications areas. We are currently looking for a Developer who will work with the team responsible for serving all of the applications areas in their product development processes.
Key performance areas
As Machining Process Developer you will take part in strategic process development for R&D's tool production and in charting and prioritizing strategically important technologies.
Your area of responsibility includes:
• Conduct and carry out projects in strategic process development
• Monitoring technical developments in the process development field
• Acting as a contact for colleges and universities, as well as institutions within the process development field
• Conduct and participate in competence and improvement projects
• Conduct and participate in investment discussions and inauguration of new production equipment
• Take part in the work of designing machinery layout
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a Master's in Engineering or a Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a focus on mechanical technology. Alternatively, you may have acquired equivalent knowledge through work experience: e.g., as a toolmaker with good knowledge if machining and application knowledge for about five to ten years' experience in CNC machines or processing strategies. Additionally, you must be familiar with the products and have both materials knowledge and experience with CAM programming. Good skills in English, in both speaking and writing, are required for the position.
